Aldersgate 2010 PreConference

Pre-Conference is the 24 hour period preceding the Aldersgate 2010 Conference. Devoted to prayer and worship, Pre-Conference is built upon a model of the harp and bowl from Revelation 5:8 and includes a unique blend of worship, Scripture reading, exhortation and prayer interaction.  Often described as a highlight of the Aldersgate Conference, Pre-Conference Prayer and Worship is also a wonderful way to prepare your heart for all that God is going to do throughout the event.

The theme for Aldersgate 2010 Pre-Conference is “Moving in the Miraculous – prepared, equipped, released.”   During the three sessions of Pre-Conference, we will be challenged to fully yield ourselves to the Lord so that we encounter Him in new and fresh ways.  This is not a time of teaching about prayer; this is a time for God’s people to pray together.

We will use a variety of scriptures to form the themes of our corporate prayer times.  Our goal is to see all participants prepared, equipped and released into ministry by the power of the Holy Spirit.  In addition, the concert of prayer will be equally balanced with sustained times of worship.  Worship that is Spirit-led is always transformational.  Come expecting to be changed and transformed.

All are invited to participate in Pre-Conference Prayer and Worship!  This beginning time will prepare your heart and spirit to be ready for all God desires to do during Aldersgate 2010.  You do not need to be a leader or clergy to come.  In the past, about one third of all Aldersgate attendees have made Pre-Conference part of their conference experience.  I hope you consider this your personal invitation to attend.
